Idea was to design smart audio deevice that can be produced by blind people for the rest of blind society. It is compatible with iPhone which is mostly used by people with sight problems and can also support voice commands for smart home.

Research
During all process we were in constant "keep in touch" mode with blind or with partial disabled sight people. Huge feedback from them and co-operating with electronics specialists aloowed us to make a product which supports not only English/American natives but Polish-speaking people. Another advantage is using "Case in the case" construction. First case which is inside is having special shapes to ease the process of assembly for blinds while outside case plays a support role for everyday use. 3D printing was best option for inside case so electronics improvements can be updated without having huge costs of developing new form of speaker in future. Metal parts on outside case holded by magnets make it also intuitive for anyone to mount correctly and make it feel durable.

Our Role
Main task was to make a device that can be produced and mounted by blind people so they can provide product to a market for people with same needs. To achieve this, every part of speaker was considered in a details to make sure that it is easy to assemble almost like a LEGO. Basically it means that design was driven by user and assembler experience so it feels solid, functional and simple.
