Project of trail running shoe for winter that has membrane with dynamic waterprofness called NEO-DRY. Overall look is inspired by wind in Polish mountains that is called "Halny" - cold air reaching the summit changes to humid warm air. Process of that is interpreted and depicted on upper. Finally project was really close to put on market by 4F brand in AW24 season but finally stayed as a concept.

In this project main idea was to design a product that is eye-catching performance shoe. It should resits raw environment like forest trails for example. Key role was to use the right textiles and molded parts that improve functions that trail running shoe should have from heel support to lightweigt construction.

Our Role

Role in this project was to design a shoe upper that is functional in terms of running on a raw ground and have higher wateprofness quality then previous models for this brands. Reaching waterprofness on the level of 25 000 flexes instead of 10 000 was the new goal. While making we were in contact with high quality membrane producers to develop better performing running footwear.
